The County Parks & Recreation Division has announced the acts for the 2021 season of ‘Music Under The Stars’, a free performing arts series, is returning this year to Deer Path Park after being held at South County Park in 2020.
The concert series starts June 17th with the Hunterdon Symphony; July 8th, Southern Steel; July 22nd, Hunterdon Harmonizers with special guests and August 5th, Captain Jack Billy Joel Tribute Band.
The Parks & Recreation Division has offered concerts free to the public since the summer of 1977 and last year, during the pandemic, switched the program to South County Park which allowed patrons to stay safe and socially distant, without missing the summer concert series.
Free drive-in movies will also return in the fall. On September 4th Mary Poppins Returns (rated PG) and September 18th Herbie Love Bug (rated G) will be shown. Rain dates are September 9th and 23rd respectively, and movies will be shown at South County Park.
Rainy Day information can be found the day of the concert by checking the Parks & Recreation Division webpage on the county website,
or by listening to the recording after 4:30 pm by dialing 908-782-7275.
