The County vaccination clinic continues to function at a high level for our residents, as the Governor observed first hand when he stopped in at the clinic, along with the Commissioner of Health on May 7th.
The Health Department clinic has now administered over 16,000 first and second dose vaccinations to date and residents continue to seek vaccinations.
My take on the Governor’s visit is that he was suitably impressed.
Vaccinations, however, continue for those who are seeking them.
Appointments are available for two upcoming health department vaccination clinics, at the Route 12 complex, on May 20th and May 25th.
The May 20th clinic will be from 10 am to 2 pm.
The Board has also heard from some residents about the difficulty in attending the health department’s clinic at the Route 12 complex during day time hours.
To accommodate those who are unable to schedule appointments during the day, the Department will be holding a drive thru clinic on May 25th with later hours, from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Appointments can be obtained through the County’s website or calling the Health Department call center at 788-1351.
