Commissioner Director John E. Lanza had the honor of delivering a very special birthday proclamation to WWII Veteran Bill Watkinson, at his home this week. Mr. Watkinson, who lives in Flemington, was a test pilot during World War II and flew 67 combat missions over the Pacific Ocean and Japan until the end of the war.
"It is with great pride that I present this proclamation to Mr. Watkinson, on behalf of my colleagues on the Board. The Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners wishes Bill Watkinson a very special and Happy 100th Birthday and thanks Bill for his service to our Country.", said Commissioner Director John E. Lanza
